What You Will Need To Make This No Churn Ice Cream
Equipment:
- Mixing Bowls: Having mixing bowls in a variety of sizes helps in the preparation of this recipe. I prefer glass mixing bowls because they are easy to clean and they do not react with acidic ingredients which could change the flavors of your recipes.
- Electric Hand Mixer: This will help whip your cream to a nice fluffy texture.
- Silicone Spoon: the perfect tool for folding your ingredients together. It is also very useful in scraping out your mixing bowls.
- Casserole Dish: This is the perfect vessel for freezing your ice cream.
Ingredients:
- Heavy Whipping Cream: Kept very cold so that it whips up light and airy.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk: The base for this No Churn Ice Cream. It replaces the traditional egg base custard by providing dairy solids, rich sweetness and little water so that when put in the freezer it doesn’t freeze like a brick.
- Espresso Powder: For that intense coffee flavor.
- Pure Vanilla Extract: I always opt for Pure Vanilla extract due to its intense vanilla flavor.
- Chocolate Sandwich Cookies: I like to use a more natural cookie like Back to Basics Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
- Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans: For extra coffee flavor and a bit of crunch.
