Ted Lasso Biscuits

With just one bite of these tender buttery biscuits you will understand why the character Rebecca in the series was so excited to receive her daily box of biscuits.

These short bread cookies or biscuit as they are called in Britain are super easy to make. When just five ingredients are put together they create the most delicious buttery biscuit that are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea. So give them a try, I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

How To Make Ted Lasso Biscuits

Preheat oven to 350º. Line a 8” x 8” baking dish with parchment paper and set to the side.

To the bowl of a food processor add the all purpose flour, sugar and salt and pulse to combine.

Cut butter into small cubes and add to the processor along with the vanilla extract and pulse until crumbs form.

Pour dough out into prepared baking dish and press down with the bottom of a small cup to flatten. Generously sprinkle the top with granulated sugar and place in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Once cooled, cut as desired and serve.

Ted Lasso Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 2/3 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 2 Stick of cold butter cut into small cubes
  • 1 Teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Granulate sugar for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350º. Line a 8” x 8” baking dish with parchment paper and set to the side.
  2. To the bowl of a food processor, add the all purpose flour, sugar and salt and pulse to combine.
  3. Add the cubed butter and vanilla extract and pulse until crumbs form.
  4. Pour dough into prepared baking dish and press down into an even layer using the flat bottom of a measuring cup. Sprinkle the top with the granulated sugar and place in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool before cutting.
  5. Once cooled, cut into desired size.
  6. Enjoy.
